Microsoft keeps ruining Notepad, so I replaced it with this free 3KB open-source alternative
I just wanted the old Notepad back.
The interface is wonderfully uneventful, which is exactly how I like my text editors.
Microsoft is preparing to bring another change to the humble Notepad app. According to Windows Latest, internal testing on Windows 11 shows that the classic text editor is gaining full image support.
