I don't know really what else to look for at this point. You shouldn't need teflon tape on the CO2 tank/regulator thread, thats what the gasket/o-ring is for.

Storing kegs without constant c02 pressure - Homebrew Talk

Storing kegs without constant c02 pressure beervoid Dec 11, 2018 co2 cold crash keg pressure storage

Why is my C02 Regulator freezing up? - Homebrew Talk

When CO2 escapes from the tank, it gets very cold. Dump it fast enough and you can easily sheet the tank in ice in a matter of a minute or two. If your regulator is freezing up my first guess would be to look for a huge leak, which would also explain the noises.

What's the diff between CO2 and beer gas? - Homebrew Talk

What is the major difference between using straight CO2 or using the beer gas mix? Can you taste any difference, is it more stable or stay in solution longer? The reason I am asking is because beer gas is a specialty gas at my supplier and is much more expensive and I am trying to understand...

HELP! Literally froze my C02 Tank and Regulator - Homebrew Talk

Kegging experts, I seriously couldn't have even made this up..... I'm just getting started on my keezer build and put together a STC-1000 temperature controller with double outlets (one hot, one cold). I set it to 4 degrees C and plug the freezer into the cold side of the outlet. Diffusion by itself is slow. Diffusion happens magnitudes faster in the presence of convection. A closed chest freezer is not perfectly air tight but it is well enough that the natural convection currents in the room will not affect the inside while sealed.

Refillable CO2 cartridges? - Homebrew Talk

Looks like the reusable cartridges get recharged with CO2 gas at whatever the current tank pressure is, 800-1000 psi. Not recharged with liquid CO2. Do you know if the original (disposable) carts actually have liquid CO2 in them? Maybe it's only compressed gas too. I wonder why there are 2 halves to these refillable cartridges, though... Yes, you would need that tank adapter, as is shown in ...

co2 Pressure (PSI) for force carbonating water - Homebrew Talk

Hi, I just got my DIY water carbonation system delivered. I bought a 5 lb. co2 tank, a corny keg, a bottle cap for carbonating in 2 liter bottles, and the 2 gauge regulator. Went and had a CO2 tank filled. And tried to carbonate a 2 liter bottle of water first with that cap. But when I...

Regulators: CO2, N2, O2, Beer gas - Homebrew Talk

Assuming that the low-pressure side adjusts to the value-ranges I want, is there any reason not to use something sold as an O2 regulator on my CO2 tank, the sold-as CO2 regulator on my N2 tank, etc? I'm thinking that they're all just gas-pressure regulators and sold as CO2 or O2 in an attempt...

How long does a 5 lb tank of CO2 last in your kegorator?

I have a 2.5 lb, a 5 lb CO2 canister. I also have a 20 lb canister I keep in the walkin cooler... The kegerator I'm starting on will have two 5 gallon kegs. I just dry ran it all and the 2.5 lb canister fits so much easier than the 5 lb canister. So my question is - how long should I...
