Jun 15, 2021 · Some new Alien 5 concept art has emerged online, offering fans a glimpse of what Neill Blomkamp originally had planned for the sequel.

The production of Alien 5 was first announced on February 18, 2015, when Blomkamp posted a piece of H. R. Giger concept art for Alien with the caption, "Um... So I think it's officially my next film. #alien".

Concept artist and matte painter Geoffroy Thoorens created several of the concept art pieces for Neill Blomkamp's Alien 5 pitch, which has now been cancelled.
