May 25, 2023 · I had forgotten about the Frame Rate Target Control (FRTC) setting under Global Graphics. I had it enabled and set to 165Hz but the driver upgrade always resets that back to 60Hz!

Windows 11 24H2. In DX11 games (f.e. War Thunder) FRTC didn't limit fps on 7800XT. In Radeon Settings FRTC enabled and seted to 60 fps. But in game there is no limit.
